Status Updates From Gilead (Gilead, #1)

Knew my dad would LOVE this book based on the plot and a podcast I listened to about it so we’re buddy reading (aka both reading it at the same time but different copies) while we are on vacation.

He’s a bit ahead of me (like 50 pages). We’re both enjoying it and it feels like a book we’re on first read you only get 30% of what you’re meant to understand. Will require rereading!!

Is my taste in books changing? Because tell me why this feels like the best book I've ever read in my life.
