To be honest. Not so in love with this story but generally like the finish what I start unless I hate it. And then sometimes even still read to see if there is anything redemptive at all.

Liking it so far, definitely reads like Florida authors or other other investigator novels such as James Lee Burke, Randy Wayne White, Robert B. Parker. Who knew he had it in him, before he was known for Percy Jackson and became a full time writer.
