Have I ever read something like that ? Not remotely close. However I had heard a little about this book (not the content though) and wanted to read it and I was a little bit surprised to find it in the erotic section of a bookstore. So I started to read it thinking it was an erotic book, how disturbing it was ! Knowing it’s a satire of Candide made so much sense and I was able to actually enjoy it
