Status Updates From Profiles in Courage

Pretty interesting so far. The way JFK (or more likely Ted Sorensen) writes about the senators seems to cut through the prestige and get to the real person. I will say that it’s annoying me that in the John Quincy Adams section, they’re referring to Democratic-Republicans/Jeffersonians as “Republicans” possibly to make it simpler for the reader but they’re completely different parties decades apart
