At first I was intimidated by the topic bc I havent read many advanced, serious stuff lately, but as I kept reading I found a good pocket. A key takeaway was the discussion of irony. I found Jackson’s point that there’s a stereotype that Black ppl are incapable of irony as a topic still worth discussing present-day.
