« On 22 May 1455 a thirteen-year-old boy stood on a battlefield. This, we must assume, was his first exposure to warfare, although the sights he witnessed on that day would become sadly familiar. The boy was Edward, Earl of March, later to be known as King Edward IV. He was to play a vital role in the conflicts we know today as the Wars of the roses. »

If you're ever in a battle (don't do that) make sure you have people hiding in the forest ready to come out painted like the Gaul warriors of old, that's how you win a battle. Also interesting to see that Richard got his "be in the battle" mentality from Edward, so him dying in Bosworth Fields makes more sense now, it's how the whole family fought. It's foolish perhaps, but admirable.
