So I love him already. He could practically be one of my autie characters.

the most insipid and boring romance I've ever read.
Not dramatic, but not fun and humorous either.
All the time the writer tells the thoughts of the 2 protagonists and it is always the same thing. I'm sure that Mary Balogh has written far better novels, but this one doesn't get more than 2.5 stars for me.
I'm not abandoning it because I'm now halfway through the book, but I can't wait to start another better one

This is my first Mary Balogh's romance and I have to say that I expected something more engaging.

The first part of the book is quite boring.
Maybe finally, at 48% through the book, something more interesting will happen but I don't want to be too optimistic, because I fear a disappointment.

The heroine makes me sick and angry. She is very shallow, selfish and stupid. I really dislike her, she annoys me so much that is hard to read this story. I can't feel attached to the story with her being the heroine.
