Instant lovers, a meh storyline, nothing really happening in an exciting way. What is happening? Why am getting barely into a book and not liking them all???

You'd think that hearing that the woman you supposedly love was prophesied to become the vampire Queen would be cause for excitement rather than ridicule and scorn. Pillock.

What the hell am I reading? The blurb led me to believe this was going to have a kick ass heroine, but so far she's just blah and seems more like a minor character than a main (Hell, Jenna seems to be the more important role). Over half way through and the book should be going somewhere ALAS that doesn't seem to be the case. HOWEVER. I'm going to give this one more chance before sticking it in the DNF bin

I realize this is YA - however, I feel like on a perpetual "sugar buzz" with all the run-on questions and manic activity!
