One is ruled by the rare extremes (take a gander which one) and one is ruled by the collective
Mediocrastan would be something like height, where after a few observations you get the gist of where humans lie on the scale of feet from the ground
Extremastan applies to anything without gravity— money, how popular a song is, book sales, and especially predicting the market 💸

I was confused at the beginning in my first attempt to read this book. But after following 1 chapter or the first chapter of Black Swan, i think the pieces of puzzles that used to make me think a lot (about the word and english style especially, oh ya, i'm not a native english speaker btw) start to become a one piece, and something become a make sense to me wkwk
