I like the book so far, but I may put it down. I got annoyed when the amateur hired police-hitman knocked off a few people who surprise, surprise, are not who the employer said they were. If the hired hitman is going to be a police officer, I expect the cop to be smarter than that. Especially when the beginning explains that it’s better to plan such an event.
