Status Updates From Steampunk! An Anthology of ...

This well crafted hardcover is very aesthetically pleasing but the stories are more punk than steam, as is apropos of a YA anthology.
My error, having judged the book solely by its cover, and the look/feel of the pages, before purchasing.

Well, a bit of a disappointment (·•᷄_•᷅ ).

The first 2 tales were 2star nonevents (｡•́︿•̀｡).

I expected more from the 3rd story, a 40pger by Cory Doctorow, 20pgs too long but did contain a satisfying case of "come uppance" & closed with a "happily ever after", 2.5stars.

A graphic novel for the 4th entry (っ- ‸ - ς), well, you know how I feel about gn's....a comic book by anyother name is still, well, not a rose...

Hm. Well the stories kinda feel like they’ve gone down in quality slightly. Not enough for me to DNF but we’ll see

Lmao just read the back cover and this is a YA anthology. Still, so far the stories are good and the writing is varied and quality, which means so far I’m enjoying myself

Story two holds up just as well as story one. As far as editors go Kelly Link and Gavin J Grant have done well so far (RF Kuang, eat your heart out). Please please please God let the rest of this anthology be good PLEASE
