Speaking of “hot,” figuratively, Nimoy demonstrates he’s really spent some time unraveling Spock’s sex appeal here, huh…? 🫠

Sounds like fans have always been eerily omniscient and sometimes struggled discerning reality from fiction.

Appreciate his activism (good on ya, Len) and frank discussion of Trek’s sexism.

Can’t believe I missed ‘Star Trek’ day - or that Spock’s implied origins are “Gene Roddenberry x Nimoy mpreg.”

I enjoy Nimoy’s meandering “it is/isn’t…” exploration of his and Spock’s identities, his commitment to truth and careful avoidance of the role’s potential comic trappings. That work schedule sounds exhausting - no wonder the line between the two is blurry!

Sweet on ‘Star Trek’ again after yesterday, so I decided to finally start Nimoy’s poorly titled love letter to Spock et al. ten minutes before my shift. He, too, empathized and identified with the alienated.
