Another excellent chapter!

The family gathering of all God's people will make up for all that their religion now costs them. A meeting where none are missing--a meeting where there are no gaps and empty places--a meeting where there are no tears--a meeting where there is no parting--such a meeting as this is worth a fight and a struggle. And such a meeting is yet to come to "the whole family in heaven and earth."

Chapter on Reality

Very similar to the previous chapter on self inquiry in my opinion but still extremely helpful. I just love Ryle. He speaks so plain and direct. I also love that every chapter is an outline, it makes it easy to read. He is very pastoral in the way he writes.

Some key points in this chapter: real religion has a deep view of the sinfulness of sin, real religion bears fruit.

I love this chapter. Ryle consistently asks the question, 'how do we do about our souls?" A question that should be asked of ourselves more often. Let us all grow in our love of Christ daily.
