this book is super engaging but also super heavy. It’s taken me a bit to read it because I feel like I have to trek through. that being said- why isn’t this stuff in the history books? Makes me wonder what is actively occurring now that we are blind to. Lord Jesus reveal places where darkness rules & equip Your people to bring light!

The section where the author talks about how the father of the child was never held to the same (or really any) standards that the mother was held to UGHHHHHH I hate the patriarchy for raising bitch ass boys

talked to my mom about this& truly had no idea how prevalent this was!! An estimated million and a half women who were forced to surrender their babies as teenage mothers. might be a new fixation for me to research!!!!
