Status Updates From Contra la interpretación

Very slow going, certainly not in a bad way. I’ve finished ‘Against Interpretation’ and I’m on ‘On Style’, but I forgot my notebook and don’t want to keep going without taking notes so alas we are done for the day.

hi guys, sorry had to put this one aside for now as i was getting in a slump with it, the essays are great but a lot about writers/plays/playwrights i don’t know so going over my head a bit. decided to put it on hold to read proust and freud. thanks everyone!

had a hard time getting through the second essay, “on style” mainly because it was such high-level thinking i needed to really find the right time* to be in the most receptive to it, but we’re beyond that now — huzzah! and we’re rocking and rolling now
