I thoroughly enjoyed this, not least because I was beginning to wonder if I had grown out of the whole spy / detective genre. I found a great character in Alec Milius and was pleased that the door has been left open for him. I just hope Charles Cumming hasn't got fed-up with him - I certainly haven't.
