Quite the cinematic read, though I kind of wish the protagonists were a bit more active. Makes sense, though, given the daylight restrictions and the third-person closed perspectives.

It might be how fast I’m reading this, but the quality is kind of dipping for me here.

Since there’s an excerpt of the next book, I don’t know if this happened in the first act or not, but that was a pretty steamy preview of what was to come.

The dialogue is a bit stiff in some places, but the characters and plot are still intriguing for me. I’ll keep reading on.

Oh, it’s been a long while since I’ve read a romance novel that was well-written. From the first few pages, it’s quite promising, and I’m looking forward to more.
