Status Updates From In a Celandine World

I like the story I just am not convinced with willow for some reason it's been hard for me to picture her in my mind. What does she look like ?

I like the mystery of this book. Tho it is a tad boring her writing is easy to read.

I enjoy Hugh's character and I do find him enchanting in a way. I love the traditional British way in which he is described in his manners, but again, I still find that with all the other typical British things described (The professor and Mr & Mrs Willoughby.). I find it all to be just a bit too much. Some of the descriptions are beautiful if you really pay attention to them, but slow the story down even more.

I love Catherine Thorpe's style of writing, I think she has a gorgeous way of describing things and she is really able to capture the different aspects of emotions and just general descriptions. It makes it slightly hard for me because I love her style of writing and it is truly captivating but I don't find the story plot quite as captivating as her choice of diction and style.

Sooo... An imaginary lover? Well. That's new. o.O

Okay, so if I skip over most descriptions and read mostly dialog then I like the book. And this one scene almost just made me cry.

So far, I think it's alright, I'm enjoying it but not to the point where I can't seem to put the book down.
I find the overly traditional descriptions of England a bit annoying but I'm enjoying all the 'Alice' quotes popping up.
