I’m devouring this, a memoir of a scrappy American living abroad in Paris right one the verge of something great eeeeeek. Hemingway is nasty, cynical, judgmental, but ultimately vindicated in the end. Don’t know how I feel about that honestly but you can’t rewrite history. I think my favorite passages are when he’s stalking James Joyce
