I love that most of Adam’s questions for Raphael are things like “why did Satan rebel? How do the stars work? How did creation happen?” And then he finishes up with “ok but tell me honestly, do Angels have sex?”

ngl Paradise Lost goes hard.
"The mind is its own place and in itself can make a Heav'n out of Hell, a Hell of Heav'n.",
"Whom reason hath equalled, force hath made supreme above his equals." and of course
"Better to reign in Hell than to serve in aheav'n" are some of my favorite quotes from the first book :)))

Reading Milton’s Paradise Lost and Paradise regained for a local men’s book club. So for now I’ll only be getting to page 743 of this volume and Paradise lost begins on page 149. This project is supposed to take us close to two years on the current schedule.

I’ll hopefully update here for each book completed.

Winter is finished
Getting to the point now where I can read ten pages of Paradise Lost without my head burning, and it’s very good! Reading Paradise Lost before the rest of the things in this book.
