Some books sucked him in, took him into another world. Some didn't. But he liked to read these just as much. These books did another trick, they lifted him half off the ground. They got him "read-dreaming". They triggered his own stories, real and imagined, present and past, made him relive his own forgotten narratives. Invent new ones. Bad books got him thinking. 🧡📚

Was Stonegate a cult? The more and more August talks about this place, the more and more it sounds like a Cult.

It's really disturbing that August is 33 years old but the thought process of a 17-year-old. I was reading the ebook thinking he was young and insecure, but to be 33 and having this kind of thought process is scary.
