I love Angel, the poor darling. Her friendship with Miriam and her anxieties and worries hit home…

I think my biggest issue with this novel is the fact that the romance is all so… physical. There’s nothing but physical attraction. We start to get a little more but then it’s back to the characters just obsessing over the physical and I don’t… find that romantic? Like I don’t necessarily mind physical romance, but that’s… all there is. Redeeming love is a want for consented sex, apparently.

Michael is becoming more bearable…

This book is just… painful. I love Angel and she makes it bearable but Michael is so bland and just…. AUGH
