I received a copy of this book by a co-worker who is a member of another Christian denomination. I am very honored that she is sharing her faith with me, so I am reading with care how Piper amplifies New Testament verses (often by cross reference and by exploring the Greek language of the original text). The focus is on the Second Coming. I’m old, so my death is the way I’m visualizing seeing Jesus.

Couldn’t finish this one. Really tried to push through but just felt like overall it wasn’t super organized. I know to expect this from JP but still - the extrapolation of every single word in multi paragraph format just really started to bog down the main themes that I think he was getting at.
