the batshit insane thing i’m learning is that the defendants in this case were not actually having sex the police just fucking lied and so if this had ever actually gone to trial (instead of the defendants pleading no contest) there’s a reasonable chance that they’d have been found not guilty and sodomy laws would still be constitutional
