Status Updates From The Detective & The Unicorn

There’s a bit of a theme with most of these books in my Kindle library, I know it’s super subtle…

This one I remember liking a lot, but it was a bit dense for the stress I was in at the time, so I’d put it aside for some lighter fare (think the literary equivalent of fast food. Sometimes that’s all you can choke down!), and didn’t get around to finishing it. Looking forward to changing that now!

I had read a couple other books by this author right before I started this. I just couldn't get into it at the time and I think that is because it wasn't part of the same series, and was both similar enough but not the same. I needed something different in between and when I picked it back up this weekend, I jumped back to the beginning, now about to start chapter 15 and I have been really enjoying it.
