A really gripping retelling of the retreat from Mons
, sometimes it feels like you're actually there.

Jerry Murland posted an email on a genealogy site , rootschat, asking if anyone knew anything about someone mentioned with distinction in a diary he was using as a source book for this book. That someone was my grandfather. We knew next to nothing of his war experience as he died in 1920. It has been amazing to learn of this record.
