Book 2:Agent of change- loved it all but the ending, since we roll on in BK 3, all is forgiven.

Is this one of those things where you had to be exposed to it at the time or when young? Because I could see young-me loving this, but current-me is struggling to stay engaged

End of "Agent of Change" Such a change in tone from the first book. But still the complex detailed world building and very subtle character design as Val Con reestablishes his identity and agency. Miri and Val Con are my favorite couple in the Liadenverse.

End of Conflict of Honors. I adore this book. The narrative voice, the rich light hearted flow of Shan's conversation, the complex and intricate world building -- allows for a fun and oddly introspective plot line about how we view ourselves and others. Plus space traders, Liaden convoluted manners and dramliza -- what's not to like?
