Status Updates From Being Friends with Boys

Completed over break

Dissipates, warm, strong, safe and happy. All of these words are coming from Charlotte's new found "different" feelings she has for Trip. I can for sure see Trip and Charlotte getting together in the future because they feel very connected.

Today Charlotte is meeting with her possible new band members and she doesnt know how to feel about replacing trip.

Today, Charlotte got to call her mom and her sister Jillian. Charlotte also work on notes for he social studies class with a kid named Benji and she was offered a blunt as well as a make out session in exchange for his notes. I have a prediction that Charlotte might catch feelings for Benji in the future and her friends will be upset.

I feel like my main character Charlotte is comparable to a tomato because she is nice and solid when you look at her from an outside perspective but as soon as you rush her or "take a bite", shes a big mess.

I think my main character, Charlotte, would relate to Rudy Francisco's poem better than the "First Fig" because she is struggling with her step mom and feels negative towards her. Charlotte loves having a full family but she also misses her older sister.

The word I chose was "evaporated" which was a part of the phrase "everyone's kind of evaporated". I looked at this phrase because I relate to it with my disappearance of friends. Since junior year I have become lonely and it feels as if my old friends have "evaporated".

I just started this book and it has already started to teach me that transparency and communication is important in a friendship. Charlotte is upset with Trip because he did not tell her he was out of the band.
