Dream Jordan never seems to disappoints. She is an awesome author. I just hated to see Kate get fucked up like that she didn't dsereve that at all but I understand because I've been there before. I'm glad it turned out better for her but I can't believe that Naleejah has HIV though. That totally threw me for a loop I forgot about the little heaux but that's WTC she gets.

Kate is a girl that is brave. She left her foster parents and went to Her thirteen replacement , I think she meant another foster home. There the girls make fun of her and went she thinks back about Ted and Lynn her foster parents, gets emotional put she keeps her feelings inside so the girls would make more jokes about her. She also faces problems with the girls in the house.

Kate is a girl who has been passed from group home to group home and now is living in the Common Grounds group home.As she thinks her life cant get any worse she meets a boy named Percy and he makes her feel so special and wanted and buys her gifts all the time. Then he gets her a phone so they can stay in touch but Kate's friend Felicia thinks that its a bit early to be giving out phones and is worried about her.

Kate's boyfriend, Percy turned out to be an abusive man that says one thing but his actions tells another story. When Kate decided to break up with him because of his abusive actions and since he felt that no one else should have her, he abused her really bad and she ended up in the hospital. While Percy was now in Jail doing his time.

Kate has been moving to and from foster homes all her life. This time she gets sent back to a group home after living with a decent family for 1.5 years.Kate has a lot coming her way and since she already been through most of the stuff all the other girls has gone through, she is planning to make a better life for herself.
