4/17 redo) genre) The genre in my book is comedy. I say this because there is a lot of parts that make me laugh. Another reason is because there is jokes in the book that they add in there. Something else that they do in the book is Greg and some other people in the book pull funny pranks. these are my reasons on why I say that my book diary of the wimpy kid is a comedy book.

characterization) the character I'm picking is Greg. Now that Greg is in middle school he feels he needs to be popular. he says that in the popularity he is 52 in the whole school . Greg is trying to get his weird non popular friend to be more popular. Greg thinks he needs to be popular in middle school. 4/27
