A whole chapter of sex was a nice change from Liv flailing as men control everything else in her life.

Liv is a pretty shit criminal. She's ended up squeezed on all sides and we're only just past halfway.

Halfway there. Thus far not an entirely terrible experience but everything feels rather flat. I really hope it picks up. I'm low on queer lady SFF titles.

This hacking stuff is possibly the least futuristic thing to happen so far. Liv's mother sounds like she's telling her how to log onto AOL. I find it so hard to believe this is set in the future, the world-building does nothing to support the setting.

Thank fuck we finally met Talbot, I was starting to get frustrated with the slow-moving sausage fest Liv was stuck in. The build-up to this point was very pedestrian and low on innovation.

I can't believe we still haven't met Talbot. Hurrrry uppppp

I'm all for setting the scene but I really am getting impatient for Liv to meet Talbot :/

The setting really feels like around about now, rather than some futuristic colony planet. They're eating chocolate lava cake ffs.

When are we going to get to the lady action? So far there's just been dudes and one woman the heroine referred to as a bitch. Ugh.
