Enjoyed the story, it was tame in the romance storyline or alluding to the beauty house which I appreciated for potential younger, teen readers. Language was stronger near the end but minimal. I enjoyed the role of the cats, it was a different dynamic or feeling from some of the other fantasy books I’ve read

The cat sunes!!!!!!!!!! That was absolutely amazing! I love they are shapeshifters and her mother was a lion one. I thought maybe in the beginning of the book that she was a tiger shifter. Loved this book and it was a true reread as I truly didn’t remember much.

I do hope the spotted cats come back and we find out just how she’s able to talk to them. Maybe it is as simple as she’s the only one they will talk to. But I hope we find out a reason.

Poor Jerrit! Thank goodness they saved him. Now we are hopefully going to find out who the killer is. Zann is definitely being blackmailed into helping.

Zann definitely shouldn’t blame Nisha for what happened to her. The whole thing is pretty harsh though. Losing her place all because she found out about her placement.
