Status Updates From The Faraway Lurs

On page 102 I found why I hated this book when I read it as a child -- dogs murdered!

I remember reading this as a child. It seemed as if so many of my friends were reading and loving it -- and I hated it! The years have blurred the specifics and I'm curious to find out what my response as an adult will be. So far, it seems well-written and relatively enjoyable and I'm not hating it -- so we'll see!
