Mind-Body Dualism isn’t really a thing. God has infinite attributes, of which two are thought and extension, these are the two humans can perceive. Body is the physical mode, mind the mental. There are three types of understanding, imagination, fractured ideas that misplace contingency, reason, which is deductive and necessary, and intuition: flows straight from God nature, therefore necessary.

Propositions 18-36 + Appendix:
Propositions mostly about the modes of God and how God acts out of the necessity of his own nature. Appendix attacks teleological views springboarding off said propositions: God did not create the world for human benefit (anthropomorphic argument/fallacy) and we deny this because we are ignorant of cause.

Definitions, Axioms, Propositions 1-17:

Substance must come before its affectations, things with different traits share nothing and therefore cannot be understood through each other nor cause one another. Substance cannot create substance. God (an infinite substance with infinite modes) necessarily exists and is all substance. Everything that is, is in God. Nothing exists without God. Everything flows from God.
