Everything in this book is cursed, except James and Cordelia, at this point. Also, I love Christopher so much so that I absolutely hate re-reads

I absolutely love Sona, she's such a good mother. I feel as though her character is often slept on, but I feel like she would try to shift the world to make her kids happy in the long run

I'm slowly dying inside. My heart is shrivelling at every moment Cordelia states that she doesn't know what she feels for Matthew. Like, girl, you think of him as a friend. It's only that your world has been completely crumbling beneath your feet, that you just wanted someone who gave you attention

So, its been decent so far. But I do wonder what caused my visceral reaction to the book in the first place. Did I truly hate the whole Matthew and Cordelia stuff that much? Did I feel unappreciative of the rest of the book? I'm honestly not sure anymore
