mansard - what 😭 not where i thought that was going, weird & i didn’t like. why is she randomly in love w her friends dad. vibes were so off & confusing.
south - just felt uncomfortable & bothered. the mom frustrated me. the daughter i felt bad for but also annoyed me. i hated the rift caused by miscommunication it just bothered & bothered until i couldnt stand it
man at the door - what the hell i hatedddddd

waiting for charlie - gut punch to the stomach, knocked all the wind out of me and now i’m so sad 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

hotel seattle - no just no

timeline - polar opposite of the last one. jam packed with emotion and feelings and happenings and everything. caught me off guard after the emptiness i was full w when finishing north sea. i absolutely loved it. so raw and real. so fleeting. nostalgia but aggressive. a story so present and in the moment but somehow clearly soon to pass as a youthful memory. wow. the writing is beautiful.

north sea - haunting, chilling, moving, touching, but just ah so cold. idk. that was rlly good. i feel for hanne and for oda. and i just feel empty.

finished ‘when in the dordogne’ - characters felt pretty flat and the whole story was kinda boring, not my vibe. painted a vivid pic in my mind in a few scenes tho, lily king is supa talented at descriptions & imagery. just didn’t care for the main guy. wish it had been in the lens of the 2 caretaker dudes or just explored them more. the ending did give me those nostalgia vibes tho. not bad just not great.
