I don’t have a good feeling about the monk… is lorenzo really using his sister’s retirement money? He appears friendly and fair… but we must not assume… Don and Donna everywhere. Italian? The monk is mysterious. Antonia is innocent and new to the world, she is naive and trusting. Her father died when she was an infant. Her aunt is strict and gallant. Lorenzo is infatuated by her, so is the count. Though it is the Monk who has captured Antonio’s interest.
