There are a lot of issues with this story. I’m 77% in so I feel like I have to finish

I don’t expect time travel romances to be historically precise, but there are so many etiquette breaches. It’s hard to take the book seriously.. I expected from the character coming from the future, but so many of the characters in the past have thrown out basic etiquette

Okay, so this is an insta-love story.

The way this book treats Christian, a clearly autistic-coded character, is a little uncomfortable and infantilizing.

Everyone is being remarkably chill about all of Lily's story.

Lily has a concussion and somehow thinks there is a historical reenactment under this sun that would opt to provide care in character rather than taking her to a hospital for a scan ASAP. 😂😂😂😂

Girl, you are IN 1813.

The lead time travels from modern day back to 1813. Upon arrival, she immediately trips into an oncoming carriage path, and I find that extremely believable.
