honestly halfway through it feels validating to know that i am validated in wanting love and to be loved even with self-love and self-actualization.

this book validates and confronts what i have suppressed. opening a new found perspective for how to have a truly open heart and willingness to be vulnerable and find love.
a part of me does feel i’ll be alone a long time before i get the “perfect” life.

First three chapters explore the beauty of finding oneself through aging and midlife. while also talking about how the feminist movement has deeply aided in our liberation but also has played apart in keeping women at the bottom in other forms.
Somehow still lacking in love despite integrating practices rooted in women’s liberation and self expression.
