This is going to be a loooooooooooong book for me. Literally 20 minutes in and I already dislike the writing. Lol. Let's see how many similes I can find. So far we have: "like blowflies to a corpse" and "pursued like a rottweiler going after a toddler" .... which, come on. Breed discrimination much? Just lazy writing.
