Status Updates From A Sign of Affection, Tome 7

sometimes I love my terrible memory bc I can reread something and get fucking BLOWN AWAY BY THE ADORABLENESS again. I'm giggling kicking my feet.

(finally watched the anime and I'm continuing the manga from where it left off. I haven't read past 7 yet so I'm excited!!)

i'm truly blown away after this last chapter. what a gorgeous couple they are, so sweet and understanding and evenly matched and generous and mature and honest. i love how we're seeing a new, more sensitive side of itsuomi in this moment too cause it just adds to the intimacy and puts us right in yuki's shoes. them both crying at the end is the icing on top of it all

i'm hoping that oushi goes against them and actually agrees to have dinner with itsuomi and yuki sometime soon. there's gotta be SOME part of him that recognizes that itsuomi isn't actually a bad guy who's trying to rub his relationship in oushi's face. he wants to UNDERSTAND him. i genuinely want the best for oushi and i think it's the only way forward for him

okay. i have lots of faith that this will be dealt with BUT i wish yuki had been a bit more clear about WHY oushi's behavior needs to change. she knows for sure now that he has a crush on her, and i like that she said she has a boyfriend, but we saw that she was UNCOMFORTABLE by his proximity, and i feel like it was important to tell oushi that part of it too. set a very clear boundary so this can truly end
