So Kang is not the Shadow. Ning is currently testing him.
I am not at all surprised that the Marquis has favourites. Of course the competition is rigged as ever.
I am loving this story the more I read it. It is very vivid, well-written and fast-paced. I think I will definitely reread it.

Alright so Bo is not the Shadow…..though we can’t know that yet. He’s the son of the traitor prince still. Yet….how can they keep him in the palace?? Aren’t they like enemies with the royal family now?
Pace is really fast by the way.

I think the love interest just got revealed. I kinda suspect he might be the Shadow. But that would be too obvious, wouldn’t it? Plus, he appeared a small time right after the shadow on the roof.

So far the pacing is really good. Tea magic foundational knowledge makes sense.

It’s alright so far, not the best thing ever. I probably won’t read any of the other books in the series unless the ending is good.

Not sure if I am going to finish this one…
