The way Logray feels the Force; the way it softly reminds him of all its tendrils & observes it & he realizes that inadvertently the Force assisted him. To Logray it’s the Golden One but he’s spiritually frantic. The problem is that the new generation of Ewok has an idea that conflicts with his. I do feel pretty immersed in their world. It all makes sense. Puzzle pieces are really nice to know.

It’s funny and fascinating how Logray investigates them (Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie etc.) He sees C3-P0 as the “Golden One”. He thinks that’s his higher power. The starship is a wind flyer. Naming and the unfamiliar are put together. That’s a point of view. Well done. I love the subtle humor but honestly I’m more interested now.

The story of Logray is fascinating to see the inner conflict and politics of the Ewok village. They think the “white ghosts” are out for them and displacing them. It’s fascinating to see their vigor building from these unseen interactions. The Force works in mysterious ways. I think this is a weak short story because I’m not all that interested yet I want to see where it leads. It’s a bit confusing.

I was very engaged and loved this ingenious story. I was truly captivated at the expansion of Endor and the Ewoks. Their livelihoods too and their language too and how Leia seemed to be a friendly person instead of the dangerous bug creature aka stormtrooper. The way they tried to simplify their existence to the natural world is truly an amazing tidbit about culture invading a truly unique culture who’s primitive.

Wicket is deeply brave and a warrior. He is the best adventurer hunter. I love the way he describes the stormtroopers and the scary precision. The way their perspective is very refreshing and I’m worried for them. Their home a bystander to the biggest scariest weapon ever. They are resourceful and very community centered.

Very cool backstory for Wicket. Snacks are a way to his heart. His life can change and he can embrace it.

The outlaw racer details the inner workings of a myriad of things, how it feels to drive a speeder bike and how the scout trooper life is. How he was successful and is tasked with helping the secretive (not so) of Endor. How he feels; smug, revengeful, and how much thought is put into the process. And how much surprise and how the Force reunited his brother possibly. It’s an intense short story overall.

He admits the rules, the moral code is different but it’ll do. Lando has a certain capacity to communicate & guide his denizens to cooperate with the rebellion. He has this internal conflict as he’s analyzing his decisions of himself and of others. How he could navigate the future only to embrace it. He’s challenging Korrimix (an almost deserter). Korrimix speaks the raw truth Lando knows, however, facing it.

Or some serious talking to find a compromise. Lando struggles with how he led his denizens to work with the Rebel Alliance. How freedom isn’t pretty and is dangerous. When you are leader, possibilities are endless as Lando demonstrates. He wants to honor himself, he has an authority. Wielding it is a skill in itself.

How leadership can be a burden, it could be a blessing to be in position but it sometimes doesn’t coordinate or align & takes effort. How to guide the people you lead is sometimes a challenge in which grace can be delivered.

Mon Mothma’s story is an intimate look into her role now, how her way is to plan, is to negotiate and sometimes she puts limits on herself because she goes out of her comfort zone. She’s been through a lot and she’s been more in touch with herself for the most part from what I got from the text. It’s a nice.

Next, Mon faces a deal of uncertainty and is scared she will lose information on the matter and she will risk her life.
She's also doing things out of wheelhouse and she is so brave. The way the tension is quiet, it’s a somber tone. She gets things handed to her usually and she is taking a more grounded approach as she tasks herself to get the info and save herself and others. The way that the Alliance is set up.
