Yep. The short paragraph structure is annoying. Some chapters are a single paragraph long. It's like reading Patterson, which I can't do anymore. 30% of the way in and not a mention of the mountain too, yet, just a climbing tool. I'll fight on but am already irritated by the chapter structure, unfortunately.

Short chapters, sometimes a little too short for my liking, like reading a James Patterson novel. But the story is progressing well.

Here we go!

These short chapters, although not a lot happening in some, really keep me turning the page.
It's great work so far, and it's building nicely.
