Almost there now, I realized something this book, that there is really no story here.
This is a story of the progression of Matt and Liz.
The goal is they reach higher ranks, there's no higher purpose than the betterment of the protagonist.
There is no drama in their lives, I am not equipped to describe this better.
But really, it's a progression novel the progression is the story there is no other story.

Hehe, it's almost over, I think it will be 3 stars though, I won't dnf the series, but at the same time I wonder if there is a better series out there and in the new year I'll try to find a series that's more fun to read.

But it seems very soon they will leave the path.
Here is why I am not excited about that even though it's new.
They will leave to be trained by a professional team or whatever, we have almost seen that before.
And it also doesn't feel as exciting as two people choosing their own destiny and making mistakes.

Should we really trust this guy?
Hopefully nothing bad happens to the protagonists because of this.

Looks like I might finish this before the end of the year! and I don't think I am dropping the series like I did with Defiance of the fall, the slow pace here is mainly my mistake not the mistake of this series.

Back to reading and writing.
Had the displeasure of dealing with three absolute morons in a row.
But honestly these things are always a blessing in disguise, just save your time from dealing with idiots to do more useful things.
I wrote 600 words today, I wasn't really impressed or thrilled by what I wrote.
So I stopped for today.
Hopeful things pick up tomorrow and I gain more confidence.
