“Beneath the level of consciousness, we’re a riotous democracy of mini selves, which are locked in chronic battle for dominion.”

This book is not at all what I thought it was gonna be but I’m fucking with it.

“Locked inside the black vault of our skulls, stuck forever in the solitude of our own hallucinated universe; story is a portal, a hallucination within a hallucination, the closest we’ll ever really come to escape.”

Very interesting in this chapter:
- Word order
- Perception/hallucination
- Change
- Domestication
