50% and im still waiting for when will this world building and this bland attempt at court intrigue going to end and for some semblance of fantasy beyond telling and actually showing us going to start? This book is almost 500 pages and we still just blabbering that i stopped paying attention to who's who beyond for the two main characters. Its just constant repetitive dialogue after another.

When I saw this eARC has 71 chapters, I about cried— but so far the story is compelling, just a bit drawn out with so much detail and world building it’s making my brain fry

Read 7 chapters and only made it to 10%— it’s gonna take a while to finish this book at the rate I read 😅
