This is so hard to read

Sheesh this epilogue should have just been another chapter or 2, wtf

That was an abrupt ending.

The way it’s written as a published book in the world of the story reminds me of the little tidbits in 4th wing. But this one is quirky and unserious, in a good way. All the tons of footnotes are hilarious.

Favourite quote: “Oh Shut up you silly bear” 😂

I just read the first actually useful footnote, which was one about Lord McGrath. Actually, it was nice. It was a good note and it did what I think the author was trying to do which was giving a really like expedition journal vibe to the book it helps grounding it into the fantastical world she created

She’s being pretty mean to him when he is worried about her life ? I don’t know if I like Sirin so far

So far the worst thing about the book are its footnotes, some of them if not most are fully useless and take the reader out of the story
