Comfort re-read to celebrate the end of the year. Maybe I just need to re-read my faves until this slump goes away 🙏

Fearne Hill's Cloud Nine is a just as delightful as it is informative. This is the first book I've read with one of the protagonists having cerebral palsy, and her descriptions of his life were more than illuminating.
If there had been less focus on the sexual relations of Tristan and Dom and more on their feelings for one another, it cold have been a 5-Star read.

This book really could have used an American editor. An effort was made to make the American seem American, but there were constant anachronisms that made the effort seem contrived.

Sometimes, I‘m like „meh“. And sometimes, I‘m like „okay, okay, this is fun“.

I don’t know what to think. But the relationship between Tristan and Dominic is pretty cute.

This took a turn for the better much earlier (and easier) than expected. Oh well. Not everything can be angsty all the time.

“We approached a complicated junction where you had to veer left to turn right. And why were the lanes so narrow? Back in San Diego, performing this manoeuvre in my Dodge would have taken out the entire front row of pedestrians queuing at the bus stop.”😂
I love this book - it’s funny and gives me all kinds of fluffy feels too, even when it also pulls at my heartstrings every now and then

What is it about Fearne Hill’s books that always seems to work for me? I’m only at 18% and already know I’m going to love this one.
