i don’t really understand the character relevance of ‘the autodidact’, especially the way he acts throughout this conversation. is he meant to depict the desires (regardless of how strange or inappropriate) that some people indulge in once they realize how much autonomy they have?

Di una lentezza provocatoria per quanto mi riguarda, non si spiega sennò come faccia ad essere così bello e allo stesso tempo in appena 240 pagine così dannatamente prolisso e attento a dettagli totalmente dimenticabili. Difficilmente mi sono ritrovata in questa stessa situazione, da un lato un libro scritto di Cristo e dall’altro un libro a cui farei fare un bel giro fuori dalla finestra, volando.
